| Blue found his 1956 Bug body planted in a field. Blue picked it up for $ 300 and brought it to Peninsula Automotive where it remained until recently. Blue bought an IRS pan and welded in a link pinhead to mount the link pin beam. He flattened the floor pans so the car could sit all the way down on the ground before beginning the right hand conversion. |

| Jo fell in love with her 1970 VW Bug back in high school. She drove it all through high school and through four years of college. When Jo and George got married, the Bug became the family car and it took the two of them to far away places. They traveled the West Coast, through the snow into Washington and Canada, as far south as Mexico, and north into Alaska. |  More info |

| Sheila found an advertisement for a 1967 VW Bug and asked her husband, Gene, to arrange a preview. Despite a pending sale Gene convinced the seller to let them take a look. | As the license plate says, this is my 85-year-old dad’s VW. This is the only used car he ever went looking for back in the early ‘80s. Many family members have driven it over the years, but the car always remained in my dad’s name. The car sat in a barn for about 20 years until 2009 when my dad asked me to get the car running again so the family could once again enjoy the experience of driving it. |  More info |
| As a kid in Hawaii, back around 1965/66, friend of the family had the 1st Meyers Manx dune buggy in the state of Hawaii. A beautiful candy apple red metallic Meyers Manx with white canvas top with side curtains. Had a stereo in it as well as a small black and white TV.
